Rachel Purnell is Executive Producer on all Pacific's shows working in the UK, the USA and internationally.
Prior to Pacific she was MTV Europe's Executive Director and Senior Vice President of Programming, Production, On Air, Talent and Artist Relations - responsible for all editorial, production, creative and music output across the five MTV and two VH1 channel networks in Europe. She also Executive Produced key shows such as the Europe Music Awards in Paris, Rotterdam and London.
Before that she was joint Head of Programmes at the all live network - Live TV and was Editor of Youth Programmes at the BBC running the DEFII slots, executive producing and creating some of the most influential shows of the time - such as Rough Guide to the World, Reportage and pioneering reality series the Living Soap. Her previous producer credits include BBC 1's live Saturday morning sequence show It's Wicked, and live daily show Open Air.
Rachel started her career as a journalist at Radio City in Liverpool and on-screen reporter at Granada TV.
